Testimonial match next up for Baker

3 months ago By David Watters

EVO-STIK League boss Neil Baker is looking forward to the next event to celebrate his twenty three years of service to Crewe Alexandra.

After being granted a series of testimonial events to mark his devotion before leaving the League Two club last season and enjoying a successful 'sportsman's evening' in February, Leek Town's popular manager, pictured, is looking forward to enjoying a testimonial match in his honour at the end of the season between a Crewe Alexandra XI and a Crewe Alexandra All Stars XI.

Kicking off at the Alexandra Stadium at 3pm on Sunday 6 May, tickets for the testimonial are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions. VIP tickets available at £25 and £20 respectively have also gone on sale this week via the Alex ticket office and the Blues. Limited in number, the VIP offer includes a two course meal, match entrance and a 'meet the players' session.

A spokesperson for the EVO-STIK League South club said: "Leek Town Football Club is helping to promote the events and would ask those who can to support and recognise Neil’s 23 years of service to Crewe."
