Stars of the season top show's bill!

By David Watters

The fans' favourite from the 2018 Northern Premier League Player of the Year Awards is one of the stars of the season topping the bill on Friday's new EVO-STIK NPL Show!

EVO-STIK NPL Show Player of the Year and South Shields star Julio Arca is joined on the new podcast by two of the other big winners from last Sunday's seventh annual awards at the Holiday Inn Barnsley, Premier Division Player of the Year Jordan Hulme and Colne's North Division Young Player of the Year Alex Curran.

Hot-shot Hulme and former Premier League midfielder Arca could both be title winners on Saturday and will have enjoyed gracing the latest hour long show alongside two managers who've already clinched their championships - Martin Carruthers from EVO-STIK League South champions Basford United and Jamie Yates, manager of Matlock Town's newly crowned kings of the NPL Football Academy's CHRYSO Division.

The Yorkshire Evening Post's Thomas Feaheny is back with a full fixture preview of Saturday’s programme and with Altrincham looking to seal the top flight title at Grantham Town, host Ben Hughes and the NPL social media officer James Heyes also hear from Brian Flynn at Radio Robins and Graham Cowell from BBC Lincolnshire ahead of the big match at the Meres.

The EVO-STIK NPL Show's weekly and monthly podcasts returned last August campaign to rave reviews to build on their best ever listening figures last term. Still available on iTunes as well as Audioboom and produced as always by the team behind FCUM Radio, the podcasts are being sponsored for the fourth season running by the NPL's title sponsors EVO-STIK.

Since last season the weekly EVO-STIK NPL Show, monthly podcast and EVO-STIK NPL Division One Show have also been available via their own button on the right hand side of the home page of the league's official website.
