Live Sports FM will be at the extra-preliminary round replay at Witton Albion's Wincham Park before a host of local, regional, national and club stations launch their coverage across all three of the Northern Premier League's three division from Saturday's big kick-off to the new season.
Fans - already able to receive regular live updates throughout matchdays on the EVO-STIK League's record-breaking social media channels on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Vole - are expected to be able to tune into even more online stations than last season as broadcasters continue to confirm their schedules with clubs.
After Morpeth Town's Highwaymen Radio used their 5-1 win at Goole on Saturday in the Emirates FA Cup as a dry run for the season proper, at least ten more online stations will have commentary teams out and about on matchdays, the growing roster already including 26Nil.com, 106.6 North Manchester FM, Drystone FM, FC Radio - formally FCUM Radio - Hull Kingston Radio, LiveSports FM, MIXLR, Moorlands Radio, Radio Hillmen, Redshift Radio, Switch Radio and Yorkshire Coast Radio.
A number of clubs like Cleethorpes Town are also looking forward to regular coverage for the first time, the Owls thanks to a new deal with MIXLR who already provide an online platform for many others to tune into the action via their website and an App on club sites. Lancaster City's popular Bailrigg FM is also expected to return along with a number of new podcasts offering live commentary from bigger matches including the North East Football Podcast and Four Pints.
The NPL's hit stable of podcasts from the EVO-STIK NPL Show also returned last weekend on the eve of the 2018-19 campaign. After rounding off the competition's historic 2017-18 season with their best ever listening figures, the first hour long EVO-STIK NPL Show of the new season focuses on the action in top flight, starting with Saturday's opening day fixtures.
