Saffron Academy Sets Up New Base in Newquay With Continued EU Funding

Saffron Academy is excited to announce its relocation to new offices in the vibrant heart of Newquay. The company has now taken up residence on the lower floor of Tall Trees, their new home. With two spacious offices and two dedicated training spaces, Saffron Academy is well-equipped to host training courses and meetings. The training and meeting facilities are also available for hire, providing a convenient venue for other businesses in need of such spaces.

John Burbridge, from Tall Trees, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership: “When I first met Claire, I immediately recognized the synergy between my vision for the future of Tall Trees and what Saffron Academy aims to achieve. The building is undergoing a revitalization, and there is a palpable sense of excitement as people come and go for training courses and meetings. Personally, I had the opportunity to benefit from Saffron’s professional and thought-provoking training, earning a nationally recognized qualification.”

Claire, representing Saffron Academy, shared her delight in finally having a physical base for the company after two years of working from home: “It’s fantastic to have a dedicated space for Saffron Academy and bring our training and team together in this fabulous location. As a lifelong resident of Newquay, it feels fitting to utilize this iconic venue as our new operational base. Anyone familiar with the area will instantly recognize Tall Trees and have fond memories of past visits.”

Saffron Academy has been successfully operating for over two years and is currently utilizing the remaining European funding available for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to provide various training opportunities. However, these EU contracts are set to expire between September and November 2023. Saffron Academy’s message is clear: “Make use of the funding before we have to return the money to Europe!”

To further promote their services, Saffron Academy, in collaboration with Newquay Orchard, will be hosting a breakfast meeting on 27 June 2023 at Newquay Orchard. Business owners and professionals are invited to attend and discover the range of offerings provided by Saffron Academy. Additionally, in partnership with Newquay Orchard, the event will explore how businesses can incorporate green credentials, environmental practices, and sustainable elements into their operations. Mark Warren, the BID Manager for Newquay, is excited about the training opportunities offered by Saffron Academy, stating, “I’m thrilled to be collaborating with a local training provider based in Newquay that can cater to the specific needs and desires of our local businesses.”

Saffron Academy is currently offering special discounts on their training programs as part of their effort to utilize the remaining funding. A list of their “Saffron Summer Sizzlers” can be found on their website. Additionally, the academy is organizing short workshops on hot topics, such as Branding and Power Down Your Stress. Information and booking details for these events can be found on the Saffron Academy website.
