Higgs takes home the prize

Ramsbottom United are the latest player to award their Player of the Month for September, in association with Bowland Brewery.

The Evo-Stik West Division side have given the award to midfielder Jack Higgs, who was presented with his award and the case of Bowland ale by Supporters Club member Matthew Frampton.

Higgs, 25, arrived at the club in the summer having previously played for Histon, Enfield Town and St Ives, as well as a brief stint at Glossop North End last season.

All clubs across the Evo-Stik Leagues have been awarding the player of the month award in association with Bowland Brewery, announcing on social media.

Meanwhile, Ramsbottom’s Supporters Club have put up a new programme hut to keep their chief programme seller, match reporter and committee member Jon Haslam dry this winter.
