The Northern Premier League's six flag-bearers in the Buildbase FA Trophy are hogging the headlines on Friday's new EVO-STIK NPL Show.

With Altrincham, Lancaster City, Marine, Stourbridge, Warrington Town and Workington all kicking off in the first round proper of Non-League's showpiece competition on Saturday, host Ben Hughes and EVO-STIK NPL media manager James Heyes talk through the ties with some of the key figures involved.

Saturday's all EVO-STIK League clash between Altrincham and Warrington is well covered on the hour long podcast following its release for download on Friday night with Phil Parkinson and Neil Sorvel representing the Robins and Warrington chairman Toby Macormac the hosts.

Workington chairman Don Blackwell joins the debate with the Cumbrians hosting Hartlepool United while Black Country Sport's Adam Parkes and the Lancashire Post's Adam Lord run the rule over Stourbridge versus Leamington and Lancaster City versus Stockport County respectively.

Whitby Town Radio's Andrew Snaith joins Hughes and Heyes to cover the weekend's action in the EVO-STIK League's top flight before the duo debate the pros and cons of Yorkshire's new international team with the man behind its foundation, YIFA chairman Phil Hegarty.

The EVO-STIK NPL Show's hit stable of weekly and monthly podcasts for the NPL's fans, players and officials returned in August for the competition's historic 50th anniversary season to build on their best ever listening figures last term and an end of season surge following a series of special live broadcasts from the promotion play-offs.

Still available on iTunes as well as Audioboom and produced as always by the award-winning team at FCUM Radio, the podcasts are being sponsored for the fourth season running by the NPL's title sponsors EVO-STIK. Since last season, they have also been available via their own button on the right hand side of the home page of the league's official website.
