Ecstatic cup fans are wanted men!

Giant-killing South Shields are hoping to track down two young fans seen widely celebrating Gavin Cogdon's last minute winner in their 3-2 victory over York City in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday.

Alongside a picture of the duo in the bumper crowd of 2,806 at Mariners Park to see the Third Qualifying Round clash, @SouthShieldsFC tweeted: "We'd love to track down the two lads pictured celebrating behind @gavc83 today. Know them? Get in touch!"

After creating one of the images of the round, the 2017 Vase winners and Northern League champions are looking forward to going into the hat for the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round draw at Wembley on Monday alongside eight other EVO-STIK League clubs.

The trio of Scarborough Athletic, Stafford Rangers and Ossett Town face midweek replays to collect £7,500 in prize money and confirm their berths for a chance to reach the First Round proper.

The Mariners and Shaw Lane, 2-1 winners over Lancaster City, are both through to the final qualifying round for the first time in their histories.
