Cup king takes time out to talk!

1 year ago By David Watters

With his side preparing for the biggest match in their history at Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday in the Emirates FA Cup, Stourbridge boss Gary Hackett helps serve up a cup double for fans of the EVO-STIK NPL Show!

After releasing December's hour long monthly podcast in time for New Year's Eve, the Glassboys boss take centre stage as his side fly the flag for the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League on third round weekend on a special cup edition of the EVO-STIK NPL Show Extra.

Produced as always by the team behind FCUM Radio and recorded at the award-winning Heaton Hops this week as Hackett and his side prepared to meet their League Two opponents at Adams Park, the new podcast also features Whitby Town boss Chris Hardy and Neil Kitching from Stafford Rangers on the title race with their clubs and the rest of the EVO-STIK NPL's top flight in action on Saturday.

Host Ben Hughes is also joined by the Northamptonshire Telegraph's Jon Dunham to discuss Corby Town and AFC Rushden and Diamonds as well as Non League Daily's Mark Carruthers for a full preview of Saturday's action.

Thousands of listeners have been downloading the EVO-STIK NPL Show and its two sister spin-offs - the EVO-STIK NPL Show Extra and the EVO-STIK NPL Division One Show - since the audio specials focusing on the league returned for the fourth season running in August.

Sponsored for the third season running by the NPL's title sponsors EVO-STIK, the podcasts are available on both iTunes and Audioboom via the links below and directly via their own buttons on the right hand side of the home page.
