Cup crowd among biggest gates

Scarborough Athletic will be hoping for another bumper gate in the next round of Emirates FA Cup after one of the biggest crowds of the weekend saw the EVO-STIK League's Seadogs book their place in Monday's draw.

Steve Kittrick's EVO-STIK League North side are getting ready to host Southern League Stratford Town in the penultimate qualifying round after being cheered on to a 2-0 win over Sunderland RCA on Saturday, the fifth highest gate in the Emirates FA Cup Second Qualifying Round.

Goals from Michael Coulson and Luke Dean sent the Seadogs through to the Emirates FA Cup Third Qualifying Round which kicks off in just under two weeks time on Saturday 30 September.
