The forward, pictured collecting a man-of-the-match award before Christmas, missed the club's 1-1 draw at Kendal Town in EVO-STIK NPL First Division North on Tuesday night after joining the Tangerines on Monday on a week long trial.
Despite needing his services to help climb the table, Boro manager Bill Prendergast is delighted for the forward who's scored three goals in 11 appearances since returning to Stainton Park in August from National League North Chorley after leaving on Christmas Eve in 2015 to sign for the Magpies.
In a statement on the club's website, a spokesman said: "The boss said he was delighted with striker Raul Correia as he has begun a week long trial at Blackpool FC this week and wishes him all the very best with the opportunity."
Prendergast's 19th placed side host Colwyn Bay on Saturday and he is determined to get the most out of his squad, with or without Correia if he does impress the League Two club's manager Gary Bowyer enough to earn a move to Bloomfield Road.
He said: "We are 19th in the league now and although I am staying positive and keep looking up, I must now strengthen the squad and also get more out of the players we have because we have a lot of quality in this squad."
Stourbridge's Daniel Scarr became the latest EVO-STIK NPL player to complete a dream move on Monday when the defender signed a two and a half year deal for an undisclosed fee with Championship giants Birmingham City.
