Farsley Celtic extended their lead at the top of the EVO-STIK Division One North despite only drawing 2-2 at Colwyn Bay, after Lancaster City lost at Droylsden.

Adam Clayton got both goals for the Yorkshire side and they looked to be on their way to securing the three points, but Daniel Andrews and Jamie Rainford ensured the scores ended level.

Lancaster missed their chance to take advantage after they conceded late with Dylan Smith poking home, it means there are two points between the teams, with Celtic also having a better goal difference

Glossop North End inflicted Colne's first defeat since February with Ben Richardson scoring a late winner with ten minutes to go.

Elsewhere Kendal Town defeated Mossley 3-0, Matt Poole and a double from Matthew Dudley helped the hosts to all three points. While Hyde United's Matthew Beadle scored twice in a 2-1 victory away at Tadcaster Albion.

In the race for the play-offs, Ossett Town rose to third thanks to a 3-1 win against Prescott Cables with Danny Frost sealing the victory with an added time strike.

Lancaster City gave EVO-STIK Northern Premier Division leaders Farsley Celtic a massive boost on Tuesday night when the second-placed Dolly Blues were beaten 2-0 at Prescot Cables.

It was goalless at the break at Valerie Park, but just 5 minutes after the restart, Dominic Marie gave Cables the lead.

Buoyed by last weekend`s win, Prescot added a second after 63 minutes, courtesy of an unfortunate Jacob Gregory own goal.

Brighouse Town are now unbeaten in eleven games. They remain with a chance of breaking into the top five after defeating Radcliffe Borough 3-0.

Tuesday's other game saw Radcliffe Borough end a run of four games without a win with a 3-0 Stainton Park success against Colwyn Bay.

Dan Burns gave Boro a great start with a goal inside the opening minute. Lewis Reilly doubled the hosts` advantage 10 minutes later, and then Reilly eventually added a third with 10 minutes remaining.
